“I never realized what a need there was for disabled services in our community. The work they do is truly amazing and life changing for both the families they help and the individuals they teach. I even traveled to Spain to help with the Children's homes. Living comfortably in America, it’s easy to forget that other people out there don’t have it as easy as you do. Volunteering with Ascend Church opened my eyes and heart to a whole world of people I can help!”

“I grew up in foster care and dropped out of high school at 16. Ascend Church gave me the opportunity to learn basic construction skills while helping the community. I learned carpentry, how to pour and finish concrete and how to lay block while helping a family with a disabled child at the same time. Ascend Church changed my life and the educated me about the importance of community mission work. They have helped me so much!"

A small sampling of what we do and what we provide those in need.
Collectively we can do what can’t be done individually. We succeed in assisting the disabled while teaching job training and life skills to those with special needs and learning disabilities.
